app differences

The differences that need words

.

Connected or integrated. C:Hub has no loyalty or wishlist of its own. Its integration list includes nine loyalty apps and several wishlist apps, and each of those is a separate app with its own plan. Froonze's account page shows Loyalty and Wishlist pages when you install those plugins, so a customer sees points, rewards and saved items in the same place.

Counting customers or orders. C:Hub's pricing page says every Shopify customer record counts toward its tier, including customers who never activated an account. Froonze counts monthly orders. A store with a large customer list and few orders may land on a different tier on each.

What C:Hub does more. A slide-out panel, order actions such as Pay Now and saved carts, and a longer integration list. Returns on C:Hub work through Shopify's new customer accounts or a returns app.

competitor fit

When C:Hub might be the better choice

.
  • You want a slide-out account panel and more order actions, such as Pay Now and saved carts.
  • You want an account app only, and your loyalty and wishlist apps already work for you. C:Hub connects to them through integrations (88 listed).
  • You want yearly billing, or have a small customer list and a high order count. C:Hub's customer-based tiers may cost less in that case.

Question Answer
What can be moved from C:Hub? Customer accounts, orders and addresses stay in Shopify, so there is no account import. Menus, blocks and page settings are rebuilt in Froonze.
How does data come in? Froonze Accounts reads customers and orders from Shopify. Custom fields that C:Hub stores in Shopify custom data stay in Shopify.
Who does the work? Merchants can use Froonze's account page editor.
What should you test first? Sign in on a test account, check menu links, order actions and languages, then turn off C:Hub's theme embed. We have not tested a full C:Hub-to-Froonze move, so test on a duplicate theme first.
FAQ Answers

Answers to your frequent questions

.
Is Froonze a good alternative to C:Hub?

For a branded account page connected to loyalty and wishlist, yes. Check the rows where C:Hub leads, especially the slide-out panel and order actions.

What is the main difference between Froonze and C:Hub?

C:Hub is an account page app that connects to other apps. Froonze Accounts is one plugin of a modular app, and its account page shows the Loyalty and Wishlist plugins' pages.

Is Froonze cheaper than C:Hub?

Not on the price list: C:Hub is $9, $19 and $29 against Froonze's $10, $20 and $30. The apps count different things (customers and orders), so compare your own numbers.

Can Froonze replace C:Hub and another app?

It can replace C:Hub, and its Loyalty, Wishlist and Reviews plugins are priced separately. Compare each against the app you use today.

Can I migrate from C:Hub?

There is no account data to import; accounts live in Shopify. You rebuild menus and blocks in Froonze. See "Moving from C:Hub" above.

What if I only need an account page?

Use Froonze Accounts on its own. The other plugins are optional.
